I Confess, I'm in Love

I have a secret love and I've only told my closest friends. I'm in love with Missoni. I don't think of myself as a person into labels and designers, but there's something very artistic about this the iconic design. My collection of Missoni is small; I only have a few pieces.

I've recently discovered a few pieces online at Zappos Couture and at  Heery's Clothes Closet in Athens, Georgia. Now I have three loves, Missoni, Zappos and Heery's.

Jay-Z Decoded Nov. 16

Jay-Z is a man who is surrounded by style and beauty. His autobiography, Decoded will be in bookstores on November 16th, 2010. Published by Spiegel & Grau, the hardcover, illustrated book will explore Jay-Z's creative process and trace his life from his childhood in Brooklyn's Marcy Projects to his years as a teen drug dealer to becoming a hip-hop superstar. I just returned from visiting San Diego and I loved it. It's one of the most beautiful places I've seen.

Whenever I travel, I always go in search of a souvenir. I walked and walked the streets going in and out of several shops looking for something unique to help me remember my time there. Just when I was about to call it a day, I discovered Kitra Ceramics & Glassware located in the Gaslamp Quarter. There I found jewelry from Cerfagli, a world renowned Italian designer.

This bracelet is way better than any t-shirt. It's special, just like my time in San Diego. Ciao Bella!

I've been scouting the Fall 2010 Accessory Trends to add to my collection of shoes, purses and jewelry. My new fashion rule is to only buy what I love and I'm loving this Bruno Frisoni fan bootie and a few other things.

Living and Loving Outdoors in Style

Last year, a tree came crashing down on my house and destroyed my deck. The deck was rebuilt quickly, but I just recently bought new outdoor furniture. I saw this picture in Real Simple Magazine and found some fabulous lighting ideas to create a cool vibe.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm not an outdoors person but I've been converted. Now after a long day, one of my favorite places to relax is outdoors on the deck. Of course I'm not alone, I keep a cool beverage close to me. It's hot out there.
